The nightclub was definitely on the of last places he would expect for a meeting with the incoming aide. When a new race entered in through Draven's city, there was one person who already knew about it. The Head of Sanguine Security, Dante Asher had working around the clock, calling in all the favors he knew. To get a Necromancer here, was an interesting ploy. He need not say much to her except that they owed him...big time. That was all that was needed. Much to his knowledge, their meeting probably would be to the point and short...how he liked it after flying straight from Tokyo to meet with her.

Walking in through the front door, the Vitae of the newest bloodline stepped forth. His eyes remained emotionless as the black obsidian that covered the entire eye was very unique. It had been through Draven and perhaps his Egyptian heritage that he came across such skills. His mother, Camille, was probably to blame as well. Her death was came as one of the largest blows to their side since Ceriro. With her dead, his tattoos that covered his arms would never fade, but as one of the last of his bloodline, would continue on.

"Vesper...Im surprised you actually did make it. Over the phone you sounded disgruntled." Dante only grinned sardonically as he pulled out a chair and placed himself in with a black portfolio case underneath the other arm.

"Touche. I can honestly say that I know how you feel." Dante sighed. On a personal level, he was very good friends with her but her demeanor never ruffled his feathers as it would other people's. "Thank you. She said if I needed someone powerful to call upon, you were the one. How have you been Dag?"

He placed the black portfolio onto the table and turned it around so she could have better access to it. He slid it towards her and looked down at it. "It is all explained there. You also know the reason why...the power...I know you have felt it...I felt it as a child, and it calls again."

He only smiled sadly when she mentioned her sister and her husband. They were both good friends of the family. The Vesper and Asher families went back centuries and both fought against an evil power that could consume the world. He sighed, because that very night as a child he felt more scared of the power than anything else. It never took form, it just came in black smoke and killed.

"Stronger. So much stronger, like someone has deliberately awakened it and gave it another source of power." Dante replied. "I believe that its pissed off as well. Everyone knows you dont awaken something that cannot be controlled. Dag, I dont think the city will survive this..."

"You remember the last time it was awakened. I barely survived that as a childe. You remember my mother how powerful she was and she barely survived it. It took my father's life." Dante nodded, but he was not convinced either way. Even if they did beat it, he would still face his dark past that had started to come back to haunt him. He knew Nicholai had visions but he kept them between them. That was their father/son secret.

"If you have the weakness that could stop it, that would be great to know."

"I have always known she was, Vesper, you know that." He looked grim now.

He was a Watcher, or Avatar if you must call it. It was his job to watch over her and those of his bloodline to watch over the race. The secret would come out sooner or later, him becoming an oddity of nature much like his mother Camille was. "I know how to unleash it and I hoped it would never come to this. You have been such a help Dag. Tell your husband I say hello and wish the best of course. If you two are staying, I will make sure you have the best of accomodations while in this city."
