" I know you do. I love you too." His hands tenderly stroking over the dark hair. He loved to run his hands through the veil of silk, To feel it trail across his hands and smell her scent from it. A sigh escaped his lips as he trailed down to kiss her shoulder with featherlight touches " You dont need to explain beloved... In many ways I envy Oen. He will be closer to you than I can ever be. Such is the result of shared horrers."

WHat started as feat light touchs became a little more potent. His lips trailing up to the soft, sensitve curve of her neck. His lips touching it with care. His lips kissing dry the wet skin before the shower's water soaked it once more. Tiny droplets of water ran down their cheeks as if the pair had wept long and bitterly.

Her thoughts became distracted when the once feather light touch of his lips became something stronger, almost possessive and yet affectionate at the same time. A small shiver raced up the length of Shang-Da's spine and she turned to face him, reaching up to frame his face between the palms of her hands.

"Oen has chosen his life with Katja and I have chosen mine with you. Let us forget about the past and look forward to the future."

Trailing back up over the curve of her neck to tenderly kiss her cheek and slender jaw he let her hands frame his face. Pulling his head back just enough to let him look at her. Meet her loving gaze with his own. " You choose this the day you broke my arm. Just as I picked you that day." Running his hands up her back he ran them over her shoulders and across her spine. The smooth lines welcoming and inviting. The graceful curve of her back as soft to his touch as silk.

Shang-Da laughed softly. "You chose me because I broke your arm? How charming." She teased, letting her hands fall away from his face so that her arms could slip around his waist, pulling their bodies closer together. His hands slid up her back, caressing the skin with such a gentle and tender touch from hands that were like her own, deadly.

"Why did you choose me, Kiba, if it wasn't for me besting you in training?"

Her fingertips traced across the tattoo'd skin of his back. His lips with great tenderness touched across her's. Their bodies close together and their scent mingling. He allowed himself to gaze into her exotic, slanted eyes. True beauty as her, small a beautiful. Delicate as a blossom yet strong as folded steel.

" I chose you because I knew from the moment I saw you I couldnt love any woman but you. You are to me perfect. You are strong, beautiful and kind. Your everything I would give my life to defend and everything I'd spend my life with. You are to me the rising sun and the sad moon."

His words brought tears to her eyes. As much as she may had felt for Oen at one point, it didn't compare to this. He had never once told her what Kiba had just confessed. He had never once confessed he truly loved her as she was meant to be loved, and when he did say he loved her, he was gone within the hour, back to a life that he could not keep away from.

They had never been right for one another. She knew that now. With trembling lips, Shang-Da closed the distance between her and Kiba, pressing a powerful and emotional kiss to his lips. He was her world now, what she would fight for, what she would gladly die for.

Pressing his lips to her's he gave perhaps the first real, emotional kiss in his long life. His kiss was tender and somwhat nervous, careful not to hurt her, almost afraid she would break under his touch. His arms linked around her and the touch of flesh on flesh was both comforting and arousing. Their gazes never left one and other even as one hand seperated from her back to frame her face.

" I love you with all my heart and more. I always will untill the end of days." She was for him, she gave him somthing to live for, somthing to fight for and somthing to die for. She completed him and gaze light to the darkest of fates, whatever her fate was he would share it. Now that they found each other they would never be parted.

Her arms slid around him, the palms of her hands sliding up his bare back to let her fingers just hold onto his shoulders. Her face burried against the curve of his neck, taking in his scent. Her lavender eyes closed, lips trailing along his skin.

"What we have is vastly similar to what Draven and Dasani have. Most people would kill for such, I will kill to protect it." Her voice was soft, barely above a whisper.
