I'm gonna break the cycle
I'm gonna shake up the system
I'm gonna destroy my ego
I'm gonna close my body now There was only momentary memories he could remember as he saw flashing lights go back into the oblivion of darkness. His mind was settled into a infinite nothing that he could have thought he was truely dead. It wasn't until the cold sensation splashed across his muscular form. And even that was followed by megaforms of pain spreading across his body. His eyes pealed, letting in the dank light that lit up the underground of Sanguine City. He wasn't sure what past he was in but he knew no one would be coming for him if they could not find him. His breathing was ragged but it wasn't much use anyway since his breathing had stopped more years ago than he could have remembered. Looking around, he lifted his head as far as it would allow him to go without pain shooting down his spinal cord.
"Dante! Dante!" A male's voice sounded from in front of him.
"Time to wake up." His vision cleared to a large dank tunnel that housed over twelve of the Corpus and Mortuus renegades. The last thing Dante remembered was walking from Savora's grave after paying his respects after her death some odd years ago. He was just beginning his job as the Head of Security and things were becoming more difficult since no one wanted to follow regulations. Sighing, no one had seen him disappear because all he remembered was being hit from behind. Though it was apparent that his wounds and abbrasions were far deeper than what he knew he recieved.
I think I'll find another way
There's so much more to know
I guess I'll die another day
It's not my time to go"Just tell me what I want to know." His dark voice echoed throughout the tunnels.
"And all of this can end." "No..." Dante mustered up. When he recognized who it was. It was Mikal of the Corpus Clan, one of the most notorius and brutal when it came to interrogation techniques. Even sometimes he was questioned by his own men but none of them here seemed to mind.
"Alright. Have it your way." Mikal said.
"Anka" The night continued when a
woman stood before him, her smile was less than accomodating. He figured when Mikal said Anka that she went by that name. Oh yes, Dante remembered her from when she was first born and had been corrupted straight from her infancy as a Vampire. It was a great loss the bloodlines had suffered since she had powers that could have helped them. Dropping his head back down, he realized he could not move his arms since they were shackled up and that supported his weight as best as he could remain.
"Poor love." Anka whispered.
"Just tell me what we want to know." Dante only chuckled. For being on the edge of death, he only was being his normal self.
"Fuck you." For every sin, I'll have to pay
I've come to work, I've come to play
I think I'll find another way
It's not my time to go"Unshackle him!" Anka's voice sounded throughout the tunnels as she yelled her orders out.
Dante dropped onto the cold wet dirt-covered cement floor as he groaned from the pain of the short drop. He was surrounded by her favorite kind of pet, Scorpians. Their blood was lethal to humans but when it was mixed with a lethal dose of lycanthrope blood, the mixture could be too deadly for any vampire who came across it. Anka pulled a rather large syringe from the wooden table and slipped it into his skin. Feeling the affects, he started shaking...
