Acontinum Bloodline

The Acontinum Bloodline have a unique appearance, and are the most feared. Their skin retains a grayish tint, the veins beneath an even darker gray. Their ability is the most unique out of the six. If their blood is introduced into an open wound of an enemy, it acts like a poison, an acidic poison. It breaks down the nervous sytem, eating away at the host from the inside out. The Elder Vampires can not be harmed by the blood of the Acontinum.

Vitae: Dasani
Aluka Bloodline

The Aluka Bloodline was gifted with the ability to shape-shift. They are able to take on the form of an animal that suits mostly to their personality. There are no ties to the moon, and most of the Aluka can shape-shift at will, often shifting a portion of their body when needed. Silver does not harm them, but it will trigger their temper.

Vitae: Lavra
Ascended Bloodline

These Vampires are considered "Bloodmancers". They have the ability to manipulate the blood or hemoglobin from any given victim. Most of the time this enables the Vampire to feed by a simple hand shake without their host knowing it; absorbing the blood through their own skin. Sometimes, especially with the Elders, the can manipulate a chosen victims blood in such a manner either raising its temperature and causing the host to explode, or calling it forth from their very skin in a gruesome display of carnage.

Vitae: Nicholai
Dimensia Bloodline

The Dimensia Bloodline has the ability to teleport themselves, or what others would call rifting through space. One stipulation of this, is that the Dimensia must see where they are going in order to teleport. Otherwise they may get stuck in that metaphysical fabric. There is an ability called "The Glimmer Step" that enables the Dimensia to "glimmer" or suddenly appear and disappear while running.

Vitae: Jezza
Fajra Bloodline

Elemental Vampires that have the vast ability to control a specific element. Certain Elements will give the Fajra added abilities, such as heightened speed or telekenetic gifts.

Vitae: Dante
Leucetius Bloodline

The Leucetius are gifted with the power to use thier own aura to inflict damage to an enemy and their aura, which can backfire if they are not careful. Strongest when used in close quarters, striking the vital points, their aura can also be put into physical weapons they are touching. The strongest of the Leucetius have aura's strong enough to resist the ultra violet rays of the sun, making even younger vampires daywalkers, if they can last in the light that gives them their name.

Vitae: Vann
Mortuus Bloodline

The Mortuus are considered the "Necromancers" of the Vampire Nation. They can not control the dead, but they are able to reanimate a corpse for a short time in order to use it against their enemy. Formerly considering a "Rogue Clan", they grew tired of the Corpus and the impending war between them and the Bloodlines. An alliance was made, and the Mortuus are now considering a Bloodline among the Council.

Vitae: Gilgamesh
Requiem Bloodline

The Requiem Bloodline are considered the Masters of Seduction as well as unique Magick crafters. They have the ability to feed off of sexual desire and lust. They can turn the most darkest desires into a physical manifestation, a reality. The Vampires of this Bloodline are remarkably beautiful, even more so than some of the other Vampires.

Angelic, oceanic eyes stared curiously at the two men approaching her. One man held a funny-looking jacket. The other man held a club. The luminous eyes grew unsettled. She did not like clubs, nor did she like that jacket. It seemed as if something unnatural sparkled in the depths of that endless gaze, something alluding to an unnatural blood hiding secrets in the thin child’s veins.

Perhaps her ancestors had been witches. Perhaps they had been something far more surreal than that.

She herself, though, was utterly human. But those eyes… they screamed differently. And as a loud wail broke the little girl’s lips, chaos answered delightedly. Things shuddered in their places, quivering and edging toward the tiny body, as if she were made of the great magnetism that danced in black holes.

The screams grew louder when the men tried to touch her, one wrestling her to the ground with the frightening jacket, the other bruising her delicate flesh with the blow of the club to the back of her skull. Had she only been born in an age of little needles to accomplish the same job. Unconsciousness engulfed her with the impact

She would know that darkness well.

xXx

She sat against the wall, her breathing shallow and her pupils explosively wide. As if she had been thrust into some abyssal blackness in which her every essence cried for light. Her quivering body was hugged securely by the jacket, her constant companion.

Hadn’t they learned locks and buckles did little to stop the tempest raging in that willowy frame?

Exhaustion seemed to overtake her, and she let her head droop forward, scarlet tresses hanging limp about her face. They had been cut short by the lady that brought her the meals, laced with sedative drugs she had become accustomed to ignore. They left acrid tangs in the back of her throat.

Crimson of rose-deep hue seeped through the collar of her straightjacket, inking pretty spots on the ivory-toned cloth. She slumped entirely forward, cheek now pressed to the cold floor of her little cell. A whimper escaped her before the abyss came to swallow her up again. In that darkness she was floating, a single wisp of brilliance in all of the nothing. Her thoughts, which were hardly worth keeping after years alone in her quiet cell, slipped away one by one.

Her name left, as with everything else, and she was as much of the nothingness that surrounded her. In her mind, she heard his voice.

Alecto, wake up. Sweet Fury, claim you breath. Claim the heartbeat others will forever feed. Wake up, my phoenix, my Childe. Rise from this fragment of dreams.

xXx

Alecto stared vacantly at the austere, gray building before her, rising with sepulchral antiquity toward the moonless, Moscow night. She ran her tongue over her lips, the metallic sweetness of life hanging in wet droplets there. Red and life-bringing, it caused the phantom-eyes to burn brighter: two pale moons of their own.

She turned and looked down the snowy road, bereft of movement save herself and the wind. She took a slow step forward, and then she was gone. A breath had stolen her away, winking out of space and time in an enigmatic instant. In that same exhalation, she was down the road as far as her eyes had been able to see. Her dainty foot touched the cold ground, bare, and she had taken a single pace.

A slow, lazy grin drifted across the nymph-like girl’s features. Unfettered, she danced her time-leaping dance down the street, and nobody was there to see. She was a specter, a phantom, unleashed upon the world.

She had never been locked away because they thought she was mad. They had locked her away because she drove others mad. She was dangerous, brilliant, beautiful… an enigmatic daughter of the night.

The starry-hazed night came into focus as down below the pale opal moon, a slow click of a dangerously sleek metal Smith & Wesson hammer had been cocked back. The god complex had been woven into a hand that belonged to an equally dangerous predator stalking the streets of Moscow. There was something about the freshly fallen snow on the cement and cobblestone streets that made tracking the prints embedded within its sheaths.

It was activity was called easy tracking as a fingertips touched against the cool white material that had been compacted together by a heavy foot.

It was not a regular shaped press from what a average human would have created, but it was from something more. Unique pressings were the artwork of the Lycanthrope, the major player of the old city. Even in the times of the unfortunate times of where the Russian empire still existed in its wonders. Now, even the ruins were laid to rest beneath the shadowy times of everything that had lain damage to its foundations.

“Come out, come out.” A low voice taunted.

The shadow emerged into the lit part of the long narrow road until a tall, muscular but slender form could be made out. Though new light prints were being made, no soul could been seen for miles. The aura of a dangerous spirit revolved around him as he moved towards the source, each step leading him to a stronger sense.

Closing the silver colored eyes, a sense became stronger until he turned around.

“Alecto. Come on out, its Dante.” He whispered now.

The softly falling snow seemed to hover, suddenly still as the air fluctuated and warped. As if a tear had been made in time itself, the pocket of space shuddered to a halt.

As if she were a figment of some surreal dream, the girl emerged from the pulsations. The snow continued to fall, and normal existance appeared to again plunge on unphased.

Tones of copper and fire mingled in her hair, and her tremendous, ocianic gaze stared into the night, which she had reunited herself with. "privyet?" she questioned, the voice ringing with a sort of familiarity she found unsettling. "Who has come to play with Allecto?" she asked, this time speaking in the language used by the voice. Her accent seemed almost whimsical on her tongue.

Allecto shifted, dainty, bare feet in the cold snow and her loose hospital gown-like garment hanging about her thin frame. She smiled idly, waiting for the voice to answer her and take shape, as she had. Full lips parted. Pearly fangs gleamed, wicked and beautiful.

His wandering gaze absorbed the cease in time.

Affecting someone like a mortal would have been all too easy for this girl who wandered around like the wind. Often, he would tease her about blowing away. Letting the sleek metal slide back into its resting place on his holster, he looked up, letting the liquid of his eyes catch Allecto.

Her hair played wildly in the wind that fluttered the snow around like a snowglobe. Her angelic eyes settled restlessly on the darkened figure that emerged to be the familiarity of her oldest ally and friend, Dante. In his absence, he tried regaining her where abouts but tracking her was like trying to trap a ghost.

His lips parted as well, showing his sign of the white fangs that unsheathed at his own willpower.
"Its Dante, midear, come out and play now."

There was something in the silver of his gaze that sparked a memory. Her grin grew lazy. “Dante… yes, I remember,” she murmured. He was not her sire, she knew, but he had serviced as a guide to a degree. He had taught her to quell the hunger that had scorched her throat the first night she’d woken to new fangs and new delights.

She did not know who her sire was. She did not know who she had been before she was Allecto. “They put me back in that jacket,” she mused, dainty, tapering fingers twitching at her sides. She’d been back in that infernal asylum again for a few years. Any time she came to haunt about that place, seeking remnants of that forgotten past, they caught her unaware.

And then she had to play human… let them wrestle her into the straightjacket. They had made the confines somewhat more pleasant than the little cell she’d been kept in last. She supposed she must have become acquainted with every single form of containment for the insane in her years. It made her laugh, often, but it rarely satiated the thirst for some hint at her mortal past.

A flick of her wrist sent the snow flying from her path, the little, falling crystals spiraled away from her and refused to fall on her specter-worthy form. She drifted forward toward Dante, and the snowfall seemed to dance away from her path. Such were the subtleties of idly manipulated telekinesis. The fluctuations of time that must have accompanied were breathtakingly minute, unfelt aside from the shiver of touching an abyss so near.

It would touch him as much as it did not touch her, so a part of it as she was. “They really must get over themselves. Insanity is much too shallow a description for any one of us, don’t you think?” she almost purred when she spoke, exotic intonations delightful rarities dripping from her lips.

Allecto twirled her last few steps toward Dante, footprints a light pitter-patter in the snow. “What lovely games have brought you to fair Moscova again?” she inquired, gesturing lithely about her with an elegant wave of her hand. “Is the rest of the world so bereft of fun that you’ve had to seek out little Allecto again?” she laughed, a sweet, if maddening, sound.

The vampiress’s brilliantly sapphire eyes twinkled. Ever the sphinx, she danced pleasantly along the fine line of enigmatic brilliance and simple madness. Her riddling seemed ever present in even her most innocent phrases.

Draven's slender fingers curled around the wrought iron railing that she stood behind. With keen eyesight she watched Dante and Allecto converse in muted tones. But to her ears, they weren't muted. After having survived for longer than any Vampire in recorded history; and even unrecorded for that matter, her sense had heightened to new degrees. Vampires weren't able to feel drastic temperature changes. The could sense a change, but it wouldn't effect them the way it does a Human. In order to bled in with their surroundings, they had to be constantly aware of the seasons and the region of the country they were in at that given time.

Snow drifted around her, creating her silhouette to appear as if she were a dark angel. To some of her people, she was. She was the Montriarch of the Vampire race; True Queen of the Damned and Vitae to the ever sensual Requiem Bloodline. Carefully, Draven uncurled her fingers from the railing and took a single step back. It didn't take much effort to launch herself over the balconey, and it took even less of an effort to land on her feet like a cat nearly twenty stories below. The shadows alley provided much cover from anyone who may have been watching, and the snow provided even more cushion to her already silenced movements.

At first glance, one would assume that Draven was a native of Moscow, but upon closer inspection, you could see that there was an underlying exotic and sensual beauty that seemed to come from another world entirely. Her almond shaped neon green eyes she often had to keep hidden behind a pair of dark sunglasses. With just a simple glance, she had the ability to Mesmerize any Human, and nearly any Vampire that she happened to lock gazes with. Considering the fact that it was night time, Draven had discarded the glasses back the Estate she was using while in Russia.

Keeping back a safe distance from Allecto and Dante, Draven still made her presence known by making a simple snowball. Glancing around her for a moment, to make sure that the coast was clear, she let that white ball fly and was satisfied when it smacked Dante upside the head.

"Oh, I'm sorry, sir, I didn't see you there."

The smile that curved the corners of her lips seemed slightly mocking, teasing and quite amused to see snow enlodged in one of his ears.

He felt what was a slight shove as Allecto had drawn nearer to his being. Her presence had always been strong around him and sensing her was never a tiresome thing to do. The speed of the world seemed to pass around him but when he came to Moscow on different times, he visited Allecto often. There had been a special connection between them even though they were not directly blood related or bonded. No one was quite sure who had changed her, and then left her to fend for herself.

“Moscow offers me a simple comfort I have not felt in such time. And you, Allecto are my child, even though yours refuses to take care of you.” His hand cupped her cheek in a fatherly manner.

Looking up, his eyes glowed unnaturally as he watched the moon hold its sway over the beautiful city. Enigmatic was the word to describe this city and this life that Allecto led. She was quite hard to track for vampires who had no idea what kind of nature she had. Ever since Dante had found her long ago on the streets, killing mercilessly as she described as delicious game. “If they describe you as insane, then there must be something wrong with them.”

He was smiling until another presence played into view. He was quick to turn around and block the snowball that came flying in his direction. When he looked, it was Draven. “You shouldn’t be here.”

Without another word, he turned around and pulled out another flashlight. Summoning Allecto, he turned around to watch the dancing nymph in her niche.

"And why is that, Dante? Do you personally hold sway over where I can and can not travel? I don't think so. I am here on business, not to check up on you. That would be Vangelo's job, not mine."

Just as quickly as Draven had appeared, she was gone in the next instant. She hadn't lied, she did have business to attend to that was vastly more important than watching Dante and Allecto. She was scowering Europe for potential sites to re-build the City of Sanguine after it had been destroyed by the Mortuus and Corpus Clans. She had just regained her sanity; as it were, from being tortured and raped by those bastard Rogue Clans. Draven still awoke with fits of night terrors.

Holding herself regally, she wouldn't dare show the weakened side of herself to anyone, not even Dasani; whom had left the Estate rather early at sundown...

Allecto stared with impossibly perceptive eyes at the regal vampiress, her entrance having been punctuated by a snow ball. Allecto smirked faintly. She tipped her head forward slightly, in an offhand recognition of Draven’s superiority, but made no further response to the other’s presence.

She giggled at Dante’s paternal touch and winked when he spoke. “Of course there is something wrong with them. I’ve gotten past all of the blood letting, and even then I wasn’t insane,” she mused.

“They were just so… delectable…” she sighed breezily, phasing out of view for a moment and appearing several feet away in a ripple of time and space. “So, what fine, midnight rendezvous are in store, Dante?” she demanded playfully, enigmatic eyes sparkling with exotic liberation.

Dante watched the free-spirited sprite prance around in the freshly fallen snow around their beloved Moscow. She wore no shoes, letting her dainty feet loose and free among the ground, leaving light marks wherever she stepped. It was only when she ceased moving around that she finally sunk into the quilting blanket over the old city.

"You were never insane." He commented smoothly. He made his best efforts to restore most of her sanity when the appetite had become over her. A vampire could lose their sanity if not properly taken and shown around by their sire. Dante had always wondered who was responsible for her. Tracking her maker was indeed difficult when hardly anyone knew...did she know?

"Lycanthrope troubles, my daughter." He smiled.

“Oh, the hounds are baying again? What a shame,” she murmured, casting a bright eye in his direction and wagging a finger daintily. “All sorts of trouble they cause. Silly puppies…” she chirruped and tipped her head back so as to catch a snowflake on the tip of her tongue. It did not melt, chilly thing that she was herself. When she drifted back over to Asher, her thick lashes were crowned by little crystal flecks of snow, frost on her cheeks and lips.

The little vampiress looked like a snow goddess with a shock of whirling, flame-toned tresses tumbling about her shoulders. “May I come play with the big bad wolves with you? I really would love to…” she inquired, blinking wide, sapphire eyes hopefully. Her lower lip jutted out slightly, like a pouting child, as she asked. It was an absurdly innocent expression on her fine features, and it clashed with the fact she knew very well the gravity of Lycanthrope threats.

It should have been brought to his attention immediately that she would want to accompany him on his quest. Well, details he liked to call them. Looking at her innocent gaze, slightly childish feautres displayed across her less than child-like face. Though she was a full grown woman, sometimes she comprehended a few things as a child would have. Though he loved her as his own anyway.

"Of course. Have I ever told you no?" Dante nodded, slipping out his hand for her to grasp. "If you are going to play with the puppies, you have to do as I tell you, I don't want you to get hurt."

Dante awaited for her before they would set off deeper into the Moscow city. Her city. Many times he questioned her to come back with him to Sanguine but she always decided Moscow was her given home and place to be. This was her palace and paradise.

Allecto's laugh was winter magic and mocking. Bright, spirited eyes and a wicked smirk flirted with the innocence of her expression, turning it impish. Almost succubus-like in her brilliantly devilish delight, the time-bending sprite danced absent fingers along her collar bone.

"And, might I ask, how are the mutts presently troubling my city?" she inquired silkily. The lapis lazuli chips which were her eyes glittered with a mischeviousness that was unsettling to most. "And what, pray tell, shall we be endeavoring to do?"

Allecto was a dichotomy. Caught between a youthful naivety and a darker intelligence, she was a tempest in fine ribbons. To contain her was to attempt to contain the time she manipulated so flippantly. She understood on levels deeper than others perceived, betraying little of that insight to those outside her closest realms of trust.

Dante was one of those few who knew of her exquisite potential. His adopted childe, so to speak, she exposed more of her nature to him than others... and even in that she was a puzzle

"My services are, as always, at your disposal." she mused.

"They killed some very important people in Sanguine. Now they fled here because there is reports of growing numbers of lycans around the downtown district area." He only smiled when her childish antics became more wise beyond her years even when she was mortal.

Dante breathed, letting the piercing cold air take through his system as a welcome more than a bother. His footprints touched the snow, leaving his own set of prints where he had previously been. He was walking into turf that belonged to the lycan hordes who gathered there frequently. They had been peaceful up until the following six years where too many unexplained and violent deaths had been linked to them.

He was here to do recon and maybe some convincing, his own way.
"We shall be dropping in to negotiate...my style."
